The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, visited Karachi on Friday to attend the concluding session of Karachi Corps War Games. An ISPR statement here said that the war games, being conducted at various Corps headquarters, are part of the `Azm-e-Nau’ series exercises which started with the Central Command War Games in May. The process will continue at other Command and Corps Headquarters to review and validate operational plans. Earlier, on arrival, COAS was received by Corps Commander Lieutenant General Muhammad Ijaz Chauhadry. (DT)
