The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has firmly rejected allegations linking its office-bearers to visa sales and human smuggling, labeling these claims as baseless and a deliberate attempt to damage the reputation of Pakistans apex trade body.
In an official statement, FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh clarified that the federation does not issue or sell visas. He emphasized that FPCCI’s international trade delegations are organized solely to promote trade, investment, and business cooperation between Pakistan and other countries.
Sheikh categorically denied any involvement in an alleged visa scam or illegal activities, stating that FPCCI did not submit visa applications for the womens delegation in question, nor were any visas issued based on FPCCIs recommendation.
Reaffirming the organizations commitment to transparency and legal compliance, Sheikh noted that all visa recommendation letters issued by FPCCI are provided strictly on merit and in accordance with the guidelines of the relevant embassies. He stressed that the federation adheres to all applicable procedures to ensure integrity in its operations.
