SBBDU, Lakhmir Zamrani Sign Strategic Agreement to Launch DXL Institute for Digital Markets

KARACHI: Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Dewan University (SBBDU) and digital markets educator Lakhmir Zamrani have entered into a strategic educational partnership to establish the DXL (Dewan Lakhmir) Institute for Digital Markets in Karachi.
The agreement was signed on September 14 at a local hotel in Karachi by SBBDU Vice Chancellor Mr. Aurangzeb, Mr. Yusuf Dewan and DXL Founder Lakhmir Zamrani.
The newly established institute will focus on professional and practical education in emerging and fast-growing fields, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, Web3, Forex, Trading, Stocks, Cryptocurrency and the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
According to the partnership details, DXL’s flagship programme will be a 12-week diploma comprising 288 hours of practical training, designed to provide participants with hands-on knowledge and skills relevant to digital markets and financial technologies.
The institute’s initial centres will be established at Park Towers, Clifton, and Dewan University, Korangi. Through a hybrid learning model, DXL aims to make its educational programmes accessible to students and working professionals across Pakistan.
The initiative represents an effort to combine university-based education with practical industry-oriented training in digital markets, financial technologies and emerging technologies.
