Court Declares Dua Zahra and Zaheers Marriage Valid

Karachi:In a significant ruling, the court has declared the marriage of Dua Zahra and Zaheer valid, rejecting claims that the Nikahnama (marriage certificate) was forged.

According to Dunya News, the case was heard in the East Karachi Magistrates court, where the judge announced the verdict on Dua Zahras plea for annulment of marriage. The court ruled in favor of the validity of the marriage and dismissed the request to declare the Nikahnama fake.

In its decision, the court stated that any request for annulment should be taken to the relevant legal forum.

It is important to note that earlier, under a court order, Dua Zahra had been placed in the custody of her parents.

This ruling marks another development in the highly publicized case, which has garnered national attention since Dua Zahras disappearance and subsequent resurfacing with claims of voluntary marriage.
