BISP Chairperson Rubina Khalid and Sindh Chief Secretary Discuss Coordination for Effective Implementation

Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid, met with Sindh Chief Secretary Syed Asif Hyder Shah in Karachi to discuss operational challenges and coordination matters concerning the effective implementation of BISP initiatives across the province.

During the meeting, various issues affecting the smooth functioning of BISP operations in Sindh were reviewed. Senator Rubina Khalid highlighted matters requiring coordination, facilitation and support from the provincial government to ensure that BISP services are delivered efficiently to eligible beneficiaries.

The Chairperson stressed the importance of close cooperation between BISP and the Sindh Government in addressing operational challenges and facilitating the programme’s initiatives at the provincial level.

Chief Secretary Sindh Syed Asif Hyder Shah assured Senator Rubina Khalid of the Sindh Government’s full cooperation and support in resolving the issues faced by BISP. He expressed his commitment to providing all possible assistance and facilitating the programme in matters requiring provincial government coordination.

The Chief Secretary emphasized the importance of effective coordination to ensure the smooth delivery of BISP services and benefits to deserving beneficiaries across Sindh.
