SZABIST University recently hosted a Seminar on Early Childhood Education Awareness in Karachi, organized by the Department of Education. This event took place on July 17, 2026, and brought together a diverse group of participants, including educators, school leaders, early childhood professionals, parents, and child development practitioners, all focused on promoting quality early learning and sharing best practices.
The seminar provided a collaborative platform for discussions aimed at strengthening early childhood education through innovative, child-centered teaching approaches. Participants exchanged ideas on fostering holistic child development and creating effective learning environments for young children.
Keynote sessions featured renowned experts in education, such as Dr. Shelina Bhamani from Aga Khan University, Naheed Wasi, Founder and CEO of the Institute of Early Childhood Education & Development, Rubina Naqvi, Senior Manager Membership and experienced educator at TRC, and Sadiya Durrani, Senior Manager Training at The City School.
Speakers emphasized the significance of play-based, child-centered learning, highlighting that high-quality early childhood education lays the foundation for lifelong learning, creativity, and social-emotional development.
The seminar concluded with appreciation for the distinguished speakers and participants, acknowledging their contributions to advancing excellence in Early Childhood Education in Pakistan through collaboration, professional learning, and knowledge sharing.
