Karachi: Driven by its vision to promote Pakistan as a center of creativity, culture, and innovation, Greenwich University once again brought pride to the nation by representing Pakistan at the prestigious Admiralty Needle International Fashion, Art & Design Festival held in St. Petersburg, Russia. This marks the universitys third consecutive year of successful participation, making it the only university from Pakistan to achieve this distinction.

The festival, organized by the Saint Petersburg State University of Technology and Design, gathered leading designers, artists, and academic institutions from around the world under the theme Conscious Elegance.

The Greenwich University delegation was led by Ms. Eesha Ali Alvi, Head of Global Communications and Cultural Diplomacy, who served as an International Juror and delivered a keynote lecture on The Importance of Cultural Diplomacy in Strengthening Global Ties through Art and Fashion. In her address, Ms. Alvi highlighted how art, design, and fashion act as vital channels for fostering mutual understanding between nations, showcasing Pakistans creative identity, artistic heritage, and craftsmanship on a global stage.

Joining the delegation was Pakistans renowned fashion icon and Greenwich University alumnus, Mr. Deepak Perwani, whose captivating showcase celebrated the richness and diversity of Pakistani fashion. His collection received widespread acclaim for its sophistication and cultural depth, standing out among participants from Russia, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Tajikistan, Namibia, and India.

This international recognition underscores Greenwich Universitys commitment to promoting Pakistans soft power through education, art, and cultural diplomacy.
