Under the visionary leadership of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Central Mr. Taha Saleem, the DC Office, in collaboration with Rescue 1122 and the Sindh Government’s Civil Defence Department, organized a comprehensive Civil Defence Razakars Training Program aimed at enhancing emergency preparedness and community resilience.

 

The training program was conducted under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC-II) and focused on equipping community volunteers with essential emergency response skills. Participants received practical training designed to help them effectively respond to natural disasters, accidents, and other emergency situations.

The initiative highlights the importance of community participation in disaster management by preparing trained volunteers who can support professional emergency response teams during crises. Through this collaborative effort, the administration seeks to strengthen local disaster preparedness and promote a culture of public safety and resilience.

Officials emphasized that empowering community members with lifesaving skills is a crucial step toward building safer and more resilient neighborhoods. The program reflects the Sindh Government’s commitment to enhancing civil defence capabilities through active public engagement and inter-agency cooperation.
