Karachi: Mr. Syed Muhammad Raza Shah, Science Officer, along with Ms. Ghazala Naeem, DRR Expert from UNESCO Pakistan, visited the TDF’s MagnifiScience Centre to explore its interactive exhibits and vibrant learning environment.
During the visit, the delegation experienced the Centres hands-on displays and immersive installations designed to make scientific concepts accessible and engaging for people of all ages. Discussions were held on the importance of informal science spaces in enhancing public understanding of science and fostering curiosity-driven exploration beyond traditional classrooms.
The UNESCO representatives appreciated how the MagnifiScience Centre effectively blends education with engagement, creating meaningful and inclusive learning experiences for visitors from diverse backgrounds. They highlighted the significance of such initiatives in promoting scientific literacy and nurturing a culture of inquiry and innovation in Pakistan.
The visit reaffirmed the shared commitment of UNESCO and the Centres management to making science accessible to all and encouraging lifelong learning through interactive platforms.
