Two suspects, including Salman Farooqi, were presented before the South Judicial Magistrate today in connection with an alleged assault incident that took place in Defence, Karachi.

In a surprising development, the victim, a young man named Sudheer, told the court that he does not wish to file a case against the accused. I have forgiven Salman Farooqi, Sudheer stated during the hearing. I am not interested in pursuing a case and will not lodge any complaint. I leave the decision to the court and have no objections to whatever it decides.

According to police, the incident occurred when a motorcycle carrying the victim and his sisters collided with a car. Following the minor accident, the cars occupant, identified as Salman Farooqi, allegedly assaulted the motorcyclist.

Despite the incident attracting public attention due to the violent nature of the confrontation, the victims decision to forgive has shifted the direction of the case. The court will now determine further legal proceedings in light of the victims statement.

The case has been adjourned for further deliberation.
