Karachi has taken another significant step toward improving urban mobility with the inauguration of the Azeempura Flyover by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.

Completed in a remarkable 90 days, ahead of its 100-day target, the Rs1.56 billion project is designed to enhance connectivity between Shahrah-e-Bhutto, Shah Faisal Colony, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Malir, Korangi, and Jinnah International Airport. The project reflects a strong commitment to addressing traffic congestion, improving commuter experience, and strengthening Karachis transportation infrastructure.

The development includes a 700-meter dual-track flyover, expanded carriageways, rehabilitated drainage systems, upgraded roads, footpaths, modern street lighting, median barriers, and a redesigned roundabout at the busy Azeempura intersection. These improvements are expected to reduce travel times, improve traffic flow, and provide safer and more efficient transit for thousands of daily commuters.

During the inauguration, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah highlighted that infrastructure development remains a key priority for the Sindh Government, citing recent projects such as Shahrah-e-Bhutto, Korangi Causeway Bridge, Bhains Colony Bridge, and Mina Bazaar improvements. He reiterated the vision of transforming Karachi into a modern metropolitan city where mobility is easier, travel is safer, and infrastructure supports the needs of a growing population.
