Karachi: A fire incident occurred on Tuesday May 6, 2025, near Jamia Masjid, close to Wedding Hall No. 01, in the Liaquatabad Super Market area. Upon receiving the alert, the Central Command and Control of Rescue 1122 immediately dispatched a team from the district station.
A fire and rescue team, equipped with one ambulance and one fire truck, reached the scene and promptly initiated response operations. The firefighters battled the blaze continuously for one hour and successfully brought the fire under control. Cooling operations were subsequently carried out to prevent any reignition.
According to initial reports, the fire was caused by a short circuit. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.
