Board of Intermediate Education Karachi Announces Scrutiny and Recounting Schedule for HSC Supplementary Examinations 2024

The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has officially released the scrutiny and re-counting schedule for the HSC Supplementary Examinations 2024. Students from all major streams, including Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, Science General, Home Economics, Commerce (Regular and Private), and Humanities (Regular and Private), are eligible to apply.

Thelast date for submission of the scrutiny form is May 5, 2025, and candidates are urged to complete the process within the given deadline to avoid any inconvenience.

Recounting Rules and Guidelines:

The board has emphasized that the recounting process does not include re-assessment of the answer scripts. Key points of the process include:

• Ensuring no mistake in the grand total on the title page of the answer book.
• Verifying that the total of all parts of a question is correctly calculated.
• Checking that all marks are accurately carried to the title page.
• Confirming no part of the answer is left unmarked.
• Matching total marks in the answer book with those on the mark sheet.
• Unassessed portions will be referred to the Head Examiner for assessment.

The results of scrutiny applications will be sent to the candidates provided postal addresswithin 40 daysof submission.
