The Karachi Press Club recently hosted a reception to honor renowned broadcaster, writer, and media personality Nilofar Abbasi during her visit to Pakistan. The event was organized by senior journalist Maqsood Yousufi and Karachi Press Club Secretary Aslam Khan, bringing together notable figures from various sectors to celebrate Abbasi’s significant contributions to broadcasting, literature, and the arts.
Nilofar Abbasi shared memorable experiences from her career with Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV), expressing her gratitude to the Karachi Press Club for their consistent support and warm receptions during her visits to Pakistan.
Distinguished guests, including Iqbal Latif, Ahmed Shah, Rehana Roohi, Yasmeen Yousaf, Dr Aaliya Imam, Abdul Rafey, Shagufta Farhat, Ovais Adeeb Ansar and many others, praised Abbasi’s remarkable service to Pakistani media and her popularity among audiences at home and abroad.
The event concluded with attendees presenting bouquets of flowers to Abbasi as a token of appreciation, along with warm wishes for her continued success and safe travels as she prepares to return to Saudi Arabia and the United States.
