A theft has been reported in the KDA Scheme 1 area of Karachi, where three domestic female workers allegedly stole gold worth millions of rupees from a house and fled the scene.

According to the details, the incident occurred in a residence within the KDA Scheme 1 locality. The homeowner had employed three maids for cleaning duties. However, they reportedly took advantage of their access and stole a significant quantity of gold jewelry from a cupboard in the house before escaping.

A CCTV video showing the suspected maids involved in the theft has surfaced and is being used as part of the investigation. The victim promptly filed a First Information Report (FIR) at the Shahrah-e-Faisal Police Station, initiating a formal investigation.

Police have launched a search operation to apprehend the suspects, and authorities are reviewing the surveillance footage to aid in identifying and locating the culprits.

The incident has sparked concerns about the vetting and background verification of domestic workers in residential areas.
