KARACHI: The National Incubation Center Karachi (NIC Karachi) officially launched the 13th edition of the Pakistan Investor Summit 2026, opening the two-day event with a dynamic day focused on startup-investor networking, strategic engagement, and investment announcements.
The summit brought together a diverse group of venture capitalists, angel investors, business executives, startup founders, and key ecosystem leaders to discuss high-growth ventures and tap into Pakistans expanding entrepreneurial landscape.
Designed as a high-impact bridging platform, the first day gave founders and capital providers a dedicated space to discuss emerging opportunities and explore strategic alliances. Proceedings began with an informal arrival and networking session, allowing participants to build relationships and exchange industry perspectives ahead of formal pitches.
Setting the tone for the event, Syed Azfar Hussain, Project Director at NIC Karachi, delivered the opening remarks. He underlined his vision to forge stronger, sustainable ties between local startups and the global investment community.
“Creating structured opportunities where founders gain access to capital, domain expertise, networks, and strategic partnerships is critical to scaling Pakistans next generation of businesses,” stated Hussain.
A central highlight of the opening day was the Investor Speed Networking session. Operating through both in-person sessions and virtual link-ups, the setup provided founders with direct, one-on-one access to active investors. During these speed rounds, startups pitched their product roadmaps, outlined their funding requirements, and gathered real-time feedback on investor expectations, opening doors for prospective term sheets and strategic guidance.
The summit continues into its second day with further showcase sessions, strategic panel discussions, and expected funding announcements as NIC Karachi works to accelerate capital flow into the local startup ecosystem.
