The fifth graduation ceremony of Denning Institute of Technology and Entrepreneurship was held to celebrate the achievements of the graduating batch of 2026, including students who successfully completed the LLB Programme awarded by the University of Greenwich, UK.
The ceremony brought together graduating students, distinguished guests, faculty members and families to mark an important milestone in the academic and professional journeys of the new law graduates.
Addressing the ceremony, Governor of Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi congratulated the graduates and highlighted the importance of education, leadership, responsible citizenship and youth participation in Pakistan’s future.
The Governor paid tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, describing him as a great leader of the subcontinent whose political vision, struggle and leadership played a decisive role in securing an independent homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent.
He observed that had Quaid-e-Azam not entered politics, the creation of Pakistan would not have been possible. He also stressed that the Muslims of the subcontinent had exercised their power through their vote and opinion, ultimately contributing to the establishment of Pakistan.
Urging young people to play an active role in the democratic process, Hashmi encouraged the youth to exercise their right to vote responsibly and contribute positively to the country’s development.
The Governor said that youth development was among the priorities of the Prime Minister of Pakistan. He referred to the Prime Ministers Digital Youth Hub, which provides opportunities relating to loans, scholarships, employment, training and other facilities for young people.
He urged graduates to make full use of such opportunities and develop their capabilities in areas including education, technology and professional skills.
Referring to Prime Ministers Vision 2047, the Governor said that young people had been placed at the centre of Pakistan’s future. He emphasized that the Pakistan of 2047 would be in the hands of todays youth and encouraged them to make education, technology, skills and character their strengths.
Hashmi also spoke about Pakistan’s recent national achievements and the countrys role in promoting peace, noting that the world was looking towards Pakistan for peace and stability.
Congratulating the graduating students, the Governor said that receiving a degree should not be considered the end of an academic journey but rather the beginning of a new chapter in practical life.
He called upon the graduates to use their education and professional capabilities for Pakistans development, economic strengthening and social progress.
The fifth graduation ceremony thus marked not only the completion of the graduates LLB studies but also their transition towards professional life as the next generation of legal professionals.
