Karachi: Greenwich University will hold its 17th Convocation on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 5:00 pm at the Sindh Governors House. The announcement was made during a press conference held at Greenwich University on January 10, 2026, to brief the media about the upcoming convocation.
Addressing the press conference, Ms. Seema Mughal, Chancellor of Greenwich University, appreciated the presence of media representatives and formally extended an invitation to them to attend the convocation ceremony. She briefed the media on the events program and highlighted its significance for the graduating students and the university.
Ms. Mughal announced that Convocation 2026 will be held under the theme Fasl-e-Gul, which reflects the university’s vision to rejuvenate a positive image of Pakistan among the youth and inspire them to contribute constructively to society.
Elaborating on the event, she said that more than 500 students from undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs will receive their degrees and formally enter their professional careers. She added that 25 high-achieving students will be awarded Gold Medals in recognition of their outstanding academic and co-curricular performance. These Gold Medals are being sponsored by industry partners.
The convocation will include the conferment of Associate, Undergraduate, Graduate, M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees. It will also serve as a tribute to the parents of graduates for their support, and to the Greenwich University fraternity for its continued efforts in nurturing Pakistani youth and contributing to the betterment of society.
