Sindh Government Ensures Immediate Medical Aid Under Amal Umer Act

Sindh Government Ensures Immediate Medical Aid Under Amal Umer ActThe Sindh Government has reaffirmed its commitment to providing immediate medical assistance to individuals injured in accidents or emergency situations under the Sindh Injured Persons Compulsory Medical Treatment Act, also known as the Amal Umer Act.

According to a government spokesperson, Mustafa Abdullah Baloch, all public and private hospitals in Sindh are required to offer urgent medical aid to injured persons without any delay. The act mandates that no police certificate will be required for treatment, ensuring that life-saving care is not hindered by bureaucratic procedures. Furthermore, the Sindh Government will bear all expenses related to the treatment of injured persons.

Additionally, the emergency services of Rescue 1122 remain operational 24/7 to assist the public in times of crisis. This initiative underscores the Sindh Governments dedication to safeguarding lives and ensuring accessible healthcare for all citizens.

The Amal Umer Act was introduced to prevent delays in medical treatment for accident victims and has been widely recognized as a crucial step in strengthening emergency healthcare services in the province.
