Karachi: A session titled Cyber Diplomacy: Navigating Security and Sovereignty in the Digital Age was held at the Lincoln Corner, PACC, bringing together participants to discuss international cooperation in cybersecurity and avenues for PakistanUnited States collaboration.
The discussion focused on how cyber diplomacy can translate high-level dialogue into meaningful local impact, particularly through partnerships, capacity building and knowledge exchange in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Speakers highlighted the importance of safeguarding national sovereignty while promoting cross-border cooperation to counter emerging cyber threats. The conversation also explored the role of public diplomacy initiatives and exchange programs in strengthening institutional linkages and enhancing professional expertise.
Participants termed the session a valuable opportunity to deepen understanding of global cyber governance and reaffirmed the need for sustained collaboration between Pakistan and the United States in areas of cybersecurity, rule of law and access to justice.
