Karachi:The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) recently welcomed a high-profile delegation of Iraqi scholars from the Scientific Foundation for Financial Transactions (SFFT Iraq) to explore opportunities for collaboration in Islamic finance. The visit, facilitated by the Al-Sadiq (AS) Institute, Karachi, aimed to enhance the development of Islamic capital markets in both countries.
During the visit, PSXs Managing Director & CEO, Mr. Farrukh H. Sabzwari, along with senior management and members of the Shariah Focus Group, engaged in insightful discussions with the Iraqi delegation. Key topics of discussion included Pakistans evolving Islamic finance sector, debt markets, equity segments, listing options, and capacity-building initiatives.
