KARACHI:The International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) at the University of Karachi hosted its annual Mushaira (symposium of Urdu poetry) in memory of the eminent scientist Prof. Dr. Saleemuzzaman Siddiqui. The literary event, which has grown into one of the largest and most well-organized Mushairas in Karachi, brought together distinguished poets, scholars, and poetry enthusiasts.
Renowned literary figure and poet Firasat Rizvi presided over the gathering, while Ms. Nasim Nazish graced the occasion as the chief guest. The event also featured guest of honor Tahir Azeem from Bahrain. The Mushaira was skillfully moderated by Dr. Jafar Askari, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for the audience.
