The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Karachi Zone has arrested two individuals involved in obtaining Pakistani passports through forged documents.
The action was carried out by the FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle, Karachi, following a tip-off regarding illegal passport activities. Acting swiftly, FIA officials conducted a raid on Shahrah-e-Iraq, located in the Saddar area of Karachi, and apprehended two agents identified as Muhammad Islam and Gulzar Ahmed.

According to the FIA spokesperson, the arrested suspects were caught red-handed while attempting to process passports using counterfeit documents. During the raid, five passports, color copies of CNICs (Computerized National Identity Cards), and bank challans were recovered from their possession.
Upon questioning, the suspects failed to provide satisfactory explanations regarding the recovered passports. The FIA has launched a formal investigation into the matter, and further inquiries are underway to identify possible links to a wider human trafficking or document forgery network.
This operation underscores the FIAs continued commitment to curbing illegal activities related to identity fraud and human trafficking in the country.
