The Karachi Traffic Police organized a Traffic Awareness Seminar at Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU) to educate students about traffic laws, road safety, and responsible driving practices. DIG Traffic Karachi, Pir Muhammad Shahattended the event as the Chief Guest and was warmly welcomed by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Mujeeb.
During the seminar, students were briefed on the modern E-Challan system, the importance of adhering to traffic regulations, and maintaining safe behavior on roads. Addressing the participants, DIG Traffic emphasized that the implementation of the E-Challan system has made compliance with traffic laws more essential for citizens, contributing to a reduction in accidents and promoting greater discipline on city roads.
The session also highlighted the practical importance of safety measures such as wearing helmets, fastening seat belts, and observing speed limits.
The university administration appreciated the Karachi Traffic Polices initiative, noting that such awareness programs play a vital role in fostering a sense of civic responsibility among students and encouraging a culture of lawful and safe road usage.
