Sindh Food Authority (SFA) has launched a province-wide initiative to ensure the availability of clean, safe, and quality food during the festive days. Under the banner Eid-ul-Adha 2025 Clean, Safe, and Quality Food is Your Right, the authority has formed special task teams to monitor hygiene and food safety standards throughout Sindh.
Acting on the directives of Director General Asif Jan Siddiqui, all SFA focal persons are coordinating closely with district administrations to ensure smooth operations. These teams will remain fully active during the Eid holidays, maintaining vigilance across all divisions and districts.

The task forces have been empowered to respond promptly to public complaints and take swift action against those supplying substandard or unhygienic food. Citizens are encouraged to report any violations via WhatsApp at 0330-6553011, ensuring their concerns are addressed quickly.
This proactive step by the SFA highlights a strong commitment to protecting public health, especially during high-risk periods like Eid when food handling and consumption increase significantly.
The initiative has been widely appreciated by the public, with many urging that such efforts should be maintained not only during Eid but year-round to build a healthier and safer Sindh.
