The Pakistan Red Crescent Society Sindh has initiated a free training program aimed at educating volunteers on First Aid and Heatwave preparedness. This timely initiative, launched under the leadership of “Hilal Ahmer Sindh”, is designed to equip citizens with essential life-saving skills to handle emergencies, accidents, and critical situations during the ongoing heatwave season.
The training sessions are being held at the Volunteer Office, Number Five Road, Orangi Town, Karachi, and will take place daily from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
This proactive effort by the Red Crescent comes at a crucial time when Karachi is facing extreme summer temperatures, making it vital for communities to be prepared for heatstroke and other heat-related medical emergencies.
Citizens are encouraged to participate in this free initiative to enhance their ability to respond effectively to emergencies and support community well-being.
