Karachi: Greenwich University is set to host the 16th International Conference of the Pakistan Psychological Association on Wednesday at its campus in collaboration with the Sindh Higher Education Commission.
The day-long conference aims to bring together scholars, practitioners, and students under the theme, Harnessing Collective Action for Social Change: Integrating Psychological Science, Policy, Practice, and Community Well Being. The event is expected to serve as a significant platform for intellectual exchange and interdisciplinary dialogue.
According to Dr. Ambreen Atiq, Head of the Department of Social Sciences and Education at Greenwich University and focal person of the conference, the scientific sessions are designed to foster scholarly discussion, research dissemination, and professional networking.
She stated that the conference will provide an opportunity for faculty members, researchers, practitioners, and students to engage in contemporary psychological discourse, with a focus on social change, mental health, policy integration, and community well-being.
Dr. Atiq further emphasized that the initiative will help strengthen academic collaboration between Greenwich University and the Pakistan Psychological Association, while also promoting a robust research culture among students.
The conference is expected to attract a diverse audience from academic and professional circles, contributing to meaningful discussions on the role of psychology in addressing societal challenges.
