Greenwich University (GU) and the Management & Development Centre (MDC) have formally entered into a strategic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aimed at promoting collaborative research, policy innovation, and capacity-building efforts across Pakistan and beyond.
The MoU, signed at a ceremony in Karachi, marks the beginning of a three-year collaboration between GU, a chartered private sector university under the Government of Sindh and MDC, a development support organization registered under Section 32 of the Companies Ordinance. The partnership will focus on joint initiatives in research, training, policy development, and multi-sectoral coordination to address critical socio-economic challenges.
Key provisions of the agreement include joint development of technical and financial proposals for national and international funding, organization of seminars, conferences, and policy dialogues, and the production of impactful research publications. Both institutions also intend to engage in diplomatic and strategic development initiatives aligned with their mutual goals.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Seema Mughal, TI, Vice Chancellor of Greenwich University, highlighted the importance of academic cooperation for sustainable development. This partnership reflects our belief in collaborative innovation, which is vital for addressing todays multifaceted development challenges, she remarked.
