The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration Unit carried out a major operation at Karachis Jinnah International Airport, apprehending two female passengers involved in fraudulent international travel.
According to FIA sources, the two women identified as Umm Kulsoom and Muqaddas Batool arrived in Pakistan on flight number G9548, traveling from Austria via Sharjah. Upon arrival, discrepancies were discovered in their travel documents.
Investigations revealed that Muqaddas Batool had illegally traveled abroad in 2023 using her sister Umm Kulsooms passport through Sialkot Airport. When her travel history was checked through the Integrated Border Management System (IBMS), officials confirmed that no record existed of her departure under her own passport.
Further examination of records confirmed a double departure under the name of Umm Kulsoom, confirming the act of impersonation.
